when you've been given a blow to your ego, one of two things may happen:

ONE: you give a great big "fuck you" to the blow and do something so fantastic and creative that your ego is automatically inflated 3 times bigger ... you just don't brag about it.  you only did it so that you could prove your self-worth.

TWO: lack of motivation.  no matter what you do, it won't be good enough anyways.
